The rules of using The Hair Library.

What The Hair Library is

The Hair Library is a research destination: we publish information about hair-restoration clinics, doctors, products, and anonymized patient journeys, and we connect patients with clinics. We are not a medical provider. We do not perform procedures. We do not give medical advice.

Using the site

• You must be 18 or older to create an account or submit a quote request.
• You agree not to scrape, abuse, or misrepresent yourself on the platform.
• You agree not to post false reviews, fake journeys, or impersonate anyone.
• You understand that everything you publish publicly (journeys, reviews, community posts) may be viewed, linked to, and quoted elsewhere.

Accuracy of information

We work hard to keep clinic profiles, product information, and pricing accurate — and we publish our editorial methodology at /methodology. But we can't guarantee zero errors. If you see something wrong, use the "Report inaccuracy" link on any card and we'll review within 72 hours.

Clinic relationships

When you request a quote through The Hair Library, your contact information is sent to the clinic you chose (and up to 3 verified alternatives if you opted in). The clinic, not The Hair Library, is responsible for the consultation, the treatment, and the outcome. Any agreements you make with a clinic (pricing, timing, procedure details) are solely between you and them.

Fees

The platform is free for patients. Clinics pay us per qualified lead (CPL) and optionally for analytics/tools subscriptions. We disclose our revenue model in plain English at /methodology.

Product purchase links are affiliate links where noted. We may earn a commission if you buy through them, which does not affect the price you pay.

Content ownership

• Content you publish (reviews, journeys, community posts) remains yours. You grant The Hair Library a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform.
• The Hair Library's editorial content (articles, guides, rankings, methodology) is © The Hair Library.
• Clinic profile data is compiled from public sources and clinic submissions; we retain our compilation rights.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime via Settings or by emailing privacy@thehairlibrary.com. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms (fake reviews, abuse, scraping).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Hair Library is not liable for medical outcomes, clinic performance, or decisions made based on information on the platform. Our maximum liability in any claim is capped at the total fees you paid us (for patients: zero).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Mumbai.

Changes

We'll email registered users if we make material changes, and we always post the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
